History sans war

" Destiny will always play its card when humans feel they have captured it".

Mankind has played havoc with nature, but today when nature retaliated there was nothing that man could do about it.
What happened in Japan was natures fury; the destruction whose loss is not measurable, the lives which have been lost cannot be counted and  even worse is situation of the people who are alive to witness the loss of their near and dear ones.

I am reminded of a few lines of a poem by "Rudyard kipling", If
"If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster

And treat those two impostors just the same;

Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools".

A few seconds of destruction and a life time to reconstruct, after the American attack on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, 11th march 2011; was  the day which made history sans war.
I hope and pray the people (survivors) have the courage and the strength to be brave this battle of nature and pick up their tools to begin reconstruction from the beginning. This loss could have happened in part of the world, so we as responsible citizens must come together with compassion and help our fellow countrymen to "begin from the beginning" and a message for all others "count your blessings".
